Souvenir XM1014 | Solitude (Factory New)

Skin overview

XM1014 | Solitude is a Restricted shotgun finish built around a mountain terrain pattern: deep teal contour lines along the barrel and magazine tube, and a pale cream receiver covered in light topographic lines. In Factory New the contrast between the dark blue front and the light receiver is at its sharpest, and the small gold accents stay crisp. This is the version for buyers who want the map motif exactly as designed.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The barrel and the magazine tube are covered in a deep teal finish with dark contour lines that imitate a mountain relief map, with small gold accents near the front of the barrel and on top of the receiver. The receiver is painted in a pale cream tone with light topographic lines outlined in dark grey, which makes it the brightest part of the weapon.

The finish is complete on every part: the teal relief on the barrel and tube, the pale receiver and the gold accents are all intact. The light receiver looks clean and even, without any grey tint. In game the shotgun shows a crisp blue front and a bright receiver at any distance. Nothing on the weapon looks used.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in blue, teal, white or gold tones blend well with the relief pattern, especially when placed on the pale receiver. Dark or holographic stickers along the barrel keep the contrast with the light section without breaking the map motif.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a lower float keeps the pale receiver noticeably cleaner.
• Look closely at the receiver edges and the muzzle, which are the first places where paint comes off.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether their look suits the cream and teal colours.
• On copies with stickers or a name tag, make sure they match your plans, as they cannot be moved to another item.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the receiver and gold accents in perfect condition.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean pale surface to build on.
• The grade for those who want the skin exactly as designed.
