Skin overview

This SSG 08 finish draws a moth's wing across the grip and stock in orange with black bars, set against muted olive and brown elsewhere. In Well-Worn the paint is visibly thinned on the barrel, muzzle and corners of the receiver, and the orange looks duller in places. The overall silhouette of the pattern is still readable, now with a rough, weathered surface.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The grip, cheek rest and butt carry the main motif: bright orange bands separated by black stripes, imitating the wing pattern of a death's-head hawkmoth. The receiver and handguard are painted in a tan and olive tone with dark brown spots, while orange accents edge the area around the trigger guard and stock frame.

The barrel and muzzle show large areas of thinned paint, and the receiver edges and rails are clearly scratched. Abrasion reaches the edges of the grip and the butt, dulling parts of the orange bands. In game the rifle reads as visibly weathered, though the striped motif is still recognisable. The flat central areas of the stock keep the most colour.
