Skin overview

Leet Museo is a painted art finish, and in Battle-Scarred it takes on a worn, almost weathered gallery look. Large patches of bare metal break up the edges of the magazine, stock and handguard, yet the central colour blocks still hold the overall scheme. The float range for this skin stops short of the very top of the scale, so even the most worn copies keep a fair share of the artwork.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The handguard is split into teal, sage green and brick red facets with a mustard yellow block near the front, while the barrel, gas tube and front sight stay dark blue-black metal. The receiver carries green angular figures over red and pink panels, continuing the scene of Ts moving through Dust II.

Large areas of bare metal cover the magazine edges, the handguard and the lower half of the stock, and the receiver corners are heavily scratched. The cream panels are dulled and the fine figures lose detail. In game the rifle reads as a rough mix of colour blocks rather than a detailed scene. Because the range does not reach the top of the scale, the centre of the receiver and stock still holds visible paint.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.65

The whole float range of StatTrakā„¢ AK-47 | Leet Museo is 0–0.65; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.65 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

What it costs in each quality

Among 16 skins of the AK-47 in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrakā„¢ version

This is the StatTrakā„¢ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrakā„¢ version is 49% dearer than the regular one.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in teal, brick red, cream or navy blend into the artwork, while muted matte designs suit the painterly style better than loud holographic ones. The cream area of the stock and the receiver above the magazine are natural spots where a sticker reads clearly without hiding the figures.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since low-float copies of a worn grade can look noticeably cleaner.
  • Inspect the magazine and the edges of the handguard first, as they lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
  • Look at the cream stock in the inspect view, because dirt and scuffs show most clearly on the light panels.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether the copy is StatTrakā„¢, as they change how the item fits your plans.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the cheapest way to carry Leet Museo in game.
  • Fans of heavily weathered finishes who like the colour blocks broken by bare metal.
  • A budget option that still keeps the overall colour scheme of the painting.
