Show allAllSkin overview
This Galil AR finish is built around a yellow-and-black hazard palette, a skull motif on the receiver and striped accents on the stock and magazine. In Well-Worn the brown base starts to show through more of the yellow, which suits the deliberately distressed style. The overall silhouette and the skull remain easy to recognise.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver is painted yellow with a white-toothed skull grin over the dust cover, outlined in black and set against brown patches. The barrel, front sight and muzzle carry bright yellow, while the ribbed handguard is darker, in grey-brown tones with yellow edges.
In Well-Worn the muzzle, front sight and handguard ribs lose more yellow and show the brown base. Scratches spread over the receiver edges and the magazine ribs, and the skull's teeth start to look chipped. The stock stripes and the central part of the magazine still hold most of their colour. At normal distance the rifle reads as a darker, dirtier version of the same design.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of StatTrak™ Galil AR | Chatterbox ranges from 0.35 to 0.85; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 14% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Chroma Collection with 14 skins in total.
It drops from Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).
Price by quality
Compared with the Well-Worn quality, the others go like this:
- Field-Tested — 4.1× dearer
- Battle-Scarred — 8% cheaper
The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 10% dearer than the regular one.
Which stickers suit it
Black, yellow and gold stickers blend with the hazard palette, while red or white accents echo the skull's aggressive theme. Placements on the receiver near the skull or along the magazine tend to sit best against the artwork.
What to look at before you buy
- Compare floats within the Field-Tested slice, since lower values keep the skull and receiver yellow noticeably brighter.
- Look at the skull on the dust cover first, because its condition defines how the skin reads in hand.
- Check the muzzle, front sight and handguard ribs, which lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag, as they change both the look and the value of a copy.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who like the distressed look but still want the design to read clearly.
- Buyers wanting a Covert Galil AR at a lower entry than Field-Tested.
- A balanced middle grade between brightness and weathered character.
