Skin overview

In Minimal Wear the Dragon Tattoo keeps its main idea intact: a dark slide with a black dragon drawn along its side above a calm grey-green frame. Any marks at this grade are light and sit mostly on the slide edges, so the decal still reads clearly at normal viewing distance. It suits buyers who want the same look and accept small blemishes visible only on inspection.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide carries a dark gunmetal anodized coat with a black dragon decal stretched along its side from the muzzle end towards the rear sights. The frame, trigger guard and grip are a flat grey-green, and the textured grip panel and finger grooves keep the same muted shade.

Minimal Wear can bring faint scuffs to the slide edges and the muzzle end, where the dark coat may look slightly lighter. Thin parts of the dragon can lose a little sharpness, but the figure stays whole. In game at normal distance it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The frame and grip still look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of StatTrakā„¢ Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal Collection with 9 skins in total.

The source is CS:GO Weapon Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

What it costs in each quality

Among 8 skins of the Glock-18 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

StatTrakā„¢ version

This is the StatTrakā„¢ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrakā„¢ version is 2.1Ɨ dearer than the regular one.

Stickers and crafts

Black, silver or grey stickers match the near-monochrome scheme. Place them on the frame below the slide so the dragon stays fully visible. A single dark accent works better than a bright mix.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position: a low value keeps the slide edges and decal at their cleanest.
  • Inspect the muzzle end and slide edges, as wear shows there first.
  • Look at the fine lines of the dragon to make sure the outline is crisp.
  • On StatTrakā„¢ or Souvenir copies, check that the counter or applied stickers fit the restrained look.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the same look in the viewmodel and do not mind faint edge marks.
  • Buyers looking for an easier entry into this skin.
  • Sticker crafters who will cover the frame anyway.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same appearance with small, hardly visible wear.
