Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred Cyber Security turns the clean poster design into a heavily chipped one, with much of the black base showing through the coloured bands. The diagonal layout and the main colours still give the rifle away, but the glyphs and fine stripes are largely lost. This is the most affordable way to carry the skin's palette, with a rough, damaged look.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver carries the busiest part of the design: gold and orange fields cut by red diagonal stripes, a cyan block and white character-style lettering on the side. The magazine continues the diagonals in gold, red and cyan, with a vertical column of white glyphs down its face.
Heavy chipping covers the magazine, receiver, grip and handguard, with large areas of dark base breaking up the colour bands. Most of the white lettering and fine stripes are gone or reduced to fragments. In game the rifle looks rough, though the bright palette is still visible at a glance. Only parts of the colour fields hold together, and no area of the finish looks clean.

Stickers and crafts
Stickers in red, gold, cyan or white blend well with the colour bands, especially on the receiver above the magazine. Holo or foil stickers with a tech or neon theme match the cyber-poster look of the finish. Dark or muted stickers work better on the black handguard area, where they do not compete with the bright panels.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear grade, because a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn can look noticeably cleaner than a high one.
- Inspect the magazine edges, receiver edges and pistol grip, since these are the first parts where chips show on this finish.
- Check the gold areas in close-up, as scratches stand out there more than on red or blue.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they fit the bright colour-block design.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for players who want this M4A4 in the inventory.
- Fans of a rough, heavily used look on a bright design.
- The cheapest way to own the skin, at the cost of most of its detail.
