StatTrak™ MAC-10 | Curse (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This wear keeps the mummy-themed paint job almost as clean as a fresh copy, at a lower entry point. Any marks are tiny and sit on the sharpest corners of the receiver and the magazine base. In normal play the muted grey-olive scheme reads the same as Factory New.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The custom paint job covers the boxy MAC-10 with a graphic image of a mummy, while the visible base tone on the render is a muted grey-olive. The receiver carries ribbed lines along its side, the short barrel and the wire stock stay dark, and the long magazine continues the same grey tone.

Small specks may appear on the sharpest receiver corners and the magazine base. The side panels and the main artwork remain untouched. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Only close inspection shows the difference.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of StatTrak™ MAC-10 | Curse is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Note: It was removed because one of its creators was also involved with the M4A4 Howl art theft. This is no longer obtainable from the Huntsman Weapon Case, but remains part of The Huntsman Collection and still works with trade-up contracts.

What it costs in each quality

Among 11 skins of the MAC-10 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 4th by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 1.9× dearer than the regular one.

Which stickers suit it

Muted, dark or olive-toned stickers sit well against the grey-olive base and the mummy theme. Placements on the flat side of the receiver keep the artwork balanced, while bright colours tend to clash with the restrained scheme.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the receiver edges, barrel end and magazine base, which lose paint first.
• Look at applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the artwork reads.
• Compare StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies separately, as they are distinct versions of the item.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a near-clean look without paying for Factory New.
• Crafters who accept tiny edge marks.
• A sensible balance of looks and cost.
