Overview
StatTrakā¢ Music Kit | Chipzel, ~Yellow Magic~ is a High Grade music kit by video game composer and chiptune artist Chipzel. It replaces the in-game music with a glitchy mashup of hybrid styles inspired by Speak & Spell. The StatTrakā¢ version also counts the owner's Official Competitive MVPs.
StatTrakā¢ Music Kit | Chipzel, ~Yellow Magic~ is a CS2 item of the music kit type of the High Grade grade. The source is StatTrakā¢ Tacticians Music Kit Box (on sale since Jul 20, 2021).
How it looks
The music combines several styles in one glitchy mix built around Speak & Spell-style synthesized speech. The input describes it as packed with fun, funk and flavour, so the tone is playful rather than tense. On the image, the sleeve is bright yellow and covered with black line drawings of faces and abstract shapes, with the Chipzel name in angular lettering across the middle. A black vinyl record with an orange label slides out of the sleeve.
How it is used
Once equipped, the kit replaces the music in the main menu, at round start and end, for map objectives, the ten-second warning and the death camera. Other players in the match can hear it, and its MVP Anthem plays for everyone when you are MVP. The StatTrakā¢ counter records your Official Competitive MVPs.
Who it suits
- Players who enjoy chiptune and electronic music with a light, playful character.
- Competitive players who want an MVP counter that shows their results to the whole lobby.
- Those who prefer a bright, cheerful soundtrack to the default game music.
- A good choice for anyone who wants a lively chiptune soundtrack together with a visible MVP count.
