StatTrak™ Negev | Desert-Strike (Factory New)

Skin overview

Negev | Desert-Strike is a Mil-Spec Grade machine gun finish in graphite-olive and tan, with a technical, high-tech look. In Factory New the tan accents on the muzzle, carry handle, foregrip and magazine have crisp edges. The thin pale stripes along the receiver stay sharp against the dark metal.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and barrel are painted in a dark graphite-olive with a subtle mottled texture, crossed by thin tan stripes and small stencilled markings near the rear. The muzzle brake, carry handle, vertical foregrip and pistol grip are finished in light tan.

The paint is intact on every part, including the tan muzzle and carry handle. Receiver stripes and stencils have clean outlines. In game the gun shows strong tan-on-black contrast from any distance. There is nothing worn to look for.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of StatTrak™ Negev | Desert-Strike is 0–0.5; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, tan, black and muted olive stickers match the desert scheme. Placing them on the dark receiver keeps the contrast with the tan parts intact.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since the tan parts show the difference most clearly.
• Inspect the muzzle brake, carry handle and foregrip, where the light paint wears first.
• Look at the receiver stripes, which lose their sharpness on more worn copies.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the dark receiver looks.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Players who want the cleanest tan-and-black contrast.
• Collectors and sticker crafters who need intact paint.
• The choice for those who want the skin as designed.
