StatTrak™ Sawed-Off | Devourer (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the Devourer looks like a creature that has survived a long fight: the grin and the purple eye are still there, but chipped paint breaks up the lettering and the edges. Bare metal shows through at the muzzle and on the raised parts, giving the bright cartoon a rough, beaten texture. It is the most affordable way to carry this artwork, and some players like it for that grimy look.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel and forend are covered in bulging lime-green letters with dark outlines and yellow vine-like strokes, while a pink-magenta tongue curls through them toward the receiver. The receiver is painted as an orange-red monster head with a row of white fangs along the side and a purple eye ringed in yellow near the rear.

Battle-Scarred has heavy chipping across the barrel, the forend and the stock, with bare metal showing at the muzzle and on edges. The green letters break up into fragments, and the fangs and purple band lose parts of their paint. In game the weapon looks rough and grimy, but the orange head and the eye are still identifiable. Only the most protected areas of the receiver keep fairly solid colour.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of StatTrak™ Sawed-Off | Devourer ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 44% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

The source is Horizon Case.

Price by quality

By price this skin is 2nd of 3 skins Classified Sawed-Off in this quality (the first being the dearest).

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 32% dearer than the regular one.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in lime green, hot pink, orange or purple echo the existing palette and blend into the cartoon style. Placing them on the barrel among the green letters keeps the monster face on the receiver uncovered. Holo or cartoon-style stickers suit the hand-painted look better than plain dark ones.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the muzzle and forend edges noticeably cleaner.
• Look closely at the white fangs and the muzzle, as these show wear earliest and are visible in first person.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, because both exist for this skin and differ from the regular version.
• Inspect applied stickers and any name tag to make sure they suit the busy, colourful artwork.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

• The most budget-friendly entry to the Devourer artwork.
• Players who enjoy a grimy, beaten creature look.
• Best for those who value the character of the skin over cleanliness.
