Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Assault in Battle-Scarred keeps its blue-and-white identity only in the larger painted areas. Heavy wear exposes metal across edges, rails and corners, and much of the fine white detail is lost. It suits players who want the scheme on the rifle and do not mind a rough, weathered look.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and the long handguard are covered in a blue base with white hand-painted markings that form parts of a research facility logo. The barrel, muzzle device, top rails and the large scope stay dark grey and frame the coloured body.

Wear covers most edges, rails and corners, exposing bare metal across the receiver and stock. Much of the fine white detail is gone. In game the rifle reads as a weathered blue body with grey patches. Only the central flat parts of the handguard and receiver keep noticeable paint.

Stickers and crafts

White, silver and blue stickers continue the scheme without fighting the logo markings. Placing them on the grey parts near the stock or along the lower receiver keeps the painted motif visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value in a grade keeps the white markings noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the receiver edges and rail sections, as these lose paint first.
• Make sure the white logo lines on the side of the receiver are not broken up on worn copies.
• Check applied stickers and a name tag, and choose StatTrak™ or Souvenir only if that version matters to you.
