Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred this monochrome finish turns into a rough, scratched dark grey with patches of bare metal. Because the design has no bright colours to lose, the rifle still looks coherent, just heavily used. It is the cheapest entry to the skin and fits a deliberately weathered style.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and the long railed handguard are covered in a dark black coat with a subtle speckled texture and thin silver inlays that pick out the rail slots and edges. The barrel and muzzle brake stay black with a slightly metallic sheen, while the scope keeps the same dark tone with a pale lens.
Large areas of the handguard, muzzle and magazine are scratched down to bare grey metal. The stock, grip and receiver edges are heavily rubbed, and the silver inlays are partly lost in the scratches. In game the rifle reads as a patchy dark grey rather than black. Only the recessed parts of the receiver and the scope keep traces of the original dark coat.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.703
The whole float range of StatTrak™ SCAR-20 | Trail Blazer is 0–0.703; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.703 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Gallery Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Gallery Case.
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 7th of 11 skins Mil-Spec Grade SCAR-20 in this quality (the first being the dearest).
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 11% dearer than the regular one.
Which stickers suit it
The black and silver scheme works well with silver, holo or foil stickers that echo the inlays. Monochrome or white designs keep the rifle restrained, while a single gold or red sticker on the receiver gives one clear accent.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade show more scuffs on the muzzle and rail.
- Inspect the handguard edges, magazine base and stock corners, as these lose the black coat first.
- Look at applied stickers and the name tag, because they change the look of such a plain dark finish noticeably.
- Compare the StatTrak™ or Souvenir version if you want a counter or tournament stickers on this rifle.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to Trail Blazer.
- Fans of heavily weathered rifles who like bare metal showing through.
- The pick for a deliberately rough look at minimal cost.
