Show allAllSkin overview
Heavy Metal is a dark, industrial-looking SG 553 finish with orange and yellow detail and three stars on the butt stock. In Well-Worn the black paint is visibly rubbed off on edges, the magazine and the stock, so the rifle looks used and battered. The orange accents remain readable, but they lose some of their sharpness.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The upper receiver is covered in a dark studded texture, while the long handguard carries grey ribbed rails with a darker centre line. The lower receiver and the area around the trigger are black with splashes of orange, red and yellow that look like glowing metal.
Paint is rubbed off along all raised parts, with grey metal showing on the magazine, rails and stock edges. The orange and yellow accents begin to fade and break at their edges. In game the rifle looks clearly used. The centre of the receiver keeps most of its dark colour.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of StatTrak™ SG 553 | Heavy Metal is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Stickers and crafts
Orange, yellow, gold and black stickers match the warm accents on the dark base. Placing them on the black receiver area keeps them readable without clashing with the studded texture.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in a worn grade keeps more of the black paint.
- Look at the magazine edges and the stock first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
- Make sure the orange accents and the stars on the stock are still intact if they matter to you.
- Inspect any stickers and name tag on the offer, as they change the overall look.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players who prefer a battered, used look on the rifle.
- Budget buyers who still want visible orange accents.
- Conclusion: character over cleanliness at a lower cost.
