Show allAllSkin overview
Cracked Opal is a hand-painted look: aged brown wood with a glowing turquoise layer showing through the splits. In Field-Tested the worn spots start to show on the shroud and magazine edges, which actually suits the theme of ancient, weathered wood. The opal network is still clearly readable in the hand.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole Tec-9 is painted in a warm brown texture with fine grain and light speckles that imitates aged wood. A network of bright turquoise cracks runs across the receiver, the perforated barrel shroud, the long magazine and the grip, forming irregular cells like dried, split timber.
Scuffs become visible around the shroud holes, on the muzzle and along the bottom of the magazine. The brown base gets slightly patchy in these spots, and some crack lines lose brightness at the edges. At normal distance the turquoise network is still clearly seen. The flat sides of the receiver and the grip keep most of their colour.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of StatTrak™ Tec-9 | Cracked Opal is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Which stickers suit it
Turquoise, teal and gold stickers echo the opal cracks and the warm wood tone. Earthy browns and stone-like designs fit the ancient theme, and placing them on the receiver side keeps the magazine pattern visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the shroud holes and magazine base show the difference first.
- Look at the turquoise cracks on the receiver sides to see how bright the opal still is on this copy.
- Inspect applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the cracked surface reads.
- For StatTrak™ or Souvenir copies, make sure the extra elements suit the look you want.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like light weathering that suits the aged-wood theme.
- Buyers who want the full opal pattern for everyday play.
- A practical all-round pick for this skin.
