StatTrak™ Tec-9 | Decimator (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Tec-9 | Decimator in Battle-Scarred keeps its pink and blue palette, but the wireframe is heavily chipped and large areas of the dark base are worn to bare metal. From a distance the gun still reads as a neon pistol, while up close it looks rough and weathered. It is the most affordable way to carry this artwork.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The barrel shroud is dark magenta with a neon pink honeycomb lattice outlining its cooling holes, and the upper receiver carries a gradient from pink to light blue with thin cyan accent lines. The central frame and trigger guard are left in plain grey metal, which makes the coloured parts stand out.

Large areas of the magazine, barrel shroud and receiver edges are worn to bare metal, and the neon lines are heavily fragmented. The emblem on the magazine may be partly erased. In game the gun still shows its pink and blue tones, but it looks rough even at normal distance. Only the more protected centre areas of the grip and receiver keep a noticeable part of the pattern.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.75

The whole float range of StatTrak™ Tec-9 | Decimator is 0–0.75; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.75 segment (40% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

StatTrak™ Tec-9 | Decimator belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Shattered Web Case.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 2.3× dearer than the regular one.

Stickers and crafts

Holographic, foil or neon-style stickers in pink, purple and cyan suit the artwork best. The grey frame above the grip is a good spot for contrast, while placements on the magazine should avoid covering the emblem.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float looks noticeably cleaner on the magazine and barrel tip.
• Inspect the magazine base and the emblem, as they are among the first areas to lose the neon lines.
• Look at the top edge of the receiver and the shroud lattice for chipped spots on worn copies.
• Review any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they match the pink and blue scheme.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
