StatTrak™ UMP-45 | Corporal (Factory New)

Skin overview

UMP-45 | Corporal is a Mil-Spec custom paint job with a military motif: an olive green body, a sand-coloured upper receiver and white rank chevrons on the side and grip. In Factory New the two-tone split is crisp, and the thin white stencils stay sharp and readable. This is the cleanest version of the finish the skin can have.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

Appearance in Factory New

The lower receiver, trigger group and folding stock are painted olive green, while the top of the upper receiver and the front end are a light sand tone. A white chevron stripe runs along the side near the front, a rank insignia sits on the pistol grip, and thin white stencil lines cross the receiver.

The paint is intact on every part, including the top rail and magazine edges. The white chevrons and stencils are fully sharp. In game the olive and sand halves read as clean, even blocks of colour. Nothing on the weapon looks used.

Factory New quality — float range 0.05–0.07

The whole float range of StatTrak™ UMP-45 | Corporal is 0.05–0.75; Factory New takes the 0.05–0.07 segment (3% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Phoenix Collection with 13 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (on sale since Feb 19, 2014).

What it costs in each quality

By price this skin is 4th of 11 skins Mil-Spec Grade UMP-45 in this quality (the first being the dearest).

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 2× dearer than the regular one.

Stickers and crafts

Olive, khaki, sand and white stickers fit the military palette, and simple insignia-style or stencil designs suit the theme. The flat olive side of the receiver behind the chevrons is the most visible spot for a placement.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the top rail and magazine.
• Look at the magazine edges and the top rail first, as these show chipping before anything else.
• Check that the white chevrons and stencils are still readable if the military markings are what you like about the skin.
• Look for applied stickers or a name tag and whether they match your plans for the gun.

Who should buy Factory New

• Players who want the sharpest chevrons and an unmarked top rail in their view.
• Collectors who keep only the cleanest grade of each skin.
• Crafters who want a clean base for stickers.
• Conclusion: the pick if clean paint matters most to you.
