Show allAllSkin overview
This XM1014 skin is built around contrast: a solid coral-red finish on the furniture and receiver, and a yellow-orange hand-painted woman with flowing hair in the middle of the gun. In Field-Tested the red picks up visible scuffs along edges and the forend, while the portrait still reads clearly in the hands. The finish looks used but keeps its character.
Item type: shotgun. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, forend, pistol grip and stock are covered in coral red with lighter, mottled patches, while the barrel and magazine tube stay a dark reddish-brown. The centre of the receiver side carries a hand-painted panel in yellow and orange showing a woman with long, flowing hair.
Scuffs become visible on the forend ribs, the receiver edges, the grip and the butt of the stock, showing darker metal underneath. The portrait still reads clearly, with only light marks near its edges on the higher end of the range. In game the gun looks used, but the red and gold combination stays intact.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of StatTrak™ XM1014 | Tranquility is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Vanguard Collection with 14 skins in total.
The source is Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).
What it costs in each quality
Among 4 skins of the XM1014 in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 2.5× dearer than the regular one.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, yellow and warm orange stickers pick up the colours of the portrait, while red or black stickers blend into the body. Placements on the stock or forend keep the painted panel on the receiver free.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the portrait panel noticeably cleaner.
- Check the inspect view of the receiver side to see how much detail the portrait has kept.
- Look at the forend ribs, muzzle and stock edges, as these parts lose paint first.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match your plans for the gun.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who use the XM1014 regularly and want the red and gold scheme.
- Buyers who accept edge wear as long as the portrait stays readable.
- A practical option for everyday play.
