Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Tec-9 | Perimeter keeps only fragments of the grid, with heavy abrasion across the receiver, frame and grip. The coloured dots survive mainly in recessed areas, which gives the gun a rough, scraped appearance. This grade is the entry point for players who care more about a worn look than about pattern detail.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, frame and grip are covered in a fine grid of small grey Xs, squares and dots, with orange and red marks scattered across it. A thin technical line drawing sits on the lower receiver above the trigger guard.

Heavy abrasion covers the receiver, frame, grip and shroud, and much of the grid is gone. The line drawing is largely lost and the coloured dots remain only in fragments. In game the gun reads as scraped dark metal with traces of pattern. Only recessed areas hold noticeable remains of the finish.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Tec-9 | Perimeter ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, red or muted grey tones match the warm accents of the grid. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the dense pattern readable around them, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the finish.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and frame show the difference first.
  • Look at the line drawing on the lower receiver, as it is one of the first details to lose clarity.
  • On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the gun and how they sit on the receiver.
  • Look for applied stickers or a name tag that may change how the item fits your loadout.
