Show allAllSkin overview
Briefing pairs a cool grey-blue contour map with dark olive-grey parts and red trim. In Field-Tested the edges start to show scuffs and the red accents lose some sharpness, but the map pattern on the receiver and stock is still clearly readable. It is the grade where the skin begins to look used without losing its character.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver and the skeletal stock carry a slate grey-blue topographic map with thin darker contour lines and a few faint red lines running through the pattern. The handguard, magazine, pistol grip and vertical foregrip are a dark olive-grey, which keeps the map confined to the upper body of the gun.
Visible scratches run along the rail, the sight edges and the magazine corners, and the red trim on the sights starts to chip. The outer frame of the stock shows light wear. In game the gun looks used but the map pattern is still clear on the receiver and stock. The flat sides of the receiver and the pistol grip stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of UMP-45 | Briefing is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Stickers and crafts
Red, black and grey stickers match the trim and the map palette, and muted blue designs blend into the receiver. Placing a red sticker near the rear sight or along the receiver repeats the existing accents without crowding the contour lines.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the red accents on raised parts show damage early.
- Look at the front sight, rail edges and magazine corners on the inspect screen, as these wear first.
- Look at the condition of the stock outline, which carries a large part of the map pattern.
- Check any applied stickers or name tag, which may add to or detract from the look.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want a recognisable UMP-45 skin for regular matches.
- Budget buyers who still want the map pattern clearly visible.
- A practical everyday option.
