Skin overview

UMP-45 | Green Swirl is a hydrographic finish with soft, flowing olive and tan blotches over the body of the SMG, paired with a green folding stock. In Factory New the swirls keep clean edges and an even tone, so the camouflage looks intact. This grade suits buyers who want the pattern exactly as designed.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, top cover and handguard are wrapped in a hydrographic camo of large, soft-edged swirls in olive green, khaki and pale tan. The accessory rails on the handguard and top are painted a brighter green, and the folding skeleton stock is a solid lime-olive green. The magazine stays plain grey metal, while the vertical foregrip, pistol grip and muzzle are dark. On worn copies the finish rubs off first on the top of the receiver, the rail edges, the muzzle area and the outer tubes of the stock, revealing grey metal underneath.

The swirl pattern is complete across the receiver and handguard, with clean borders between olive and tan areas. The green rails and stock have an even, unbroken colour. At normal distance the gun looks freshly painted. Nothing on the weapon shows visible wear.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of UMP-45 | Green Swirl is 0–0.7; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Muted greens, browns, black and gold stickers blend with the olive and tan swirls for a coherent military look. Placing them on the side of the receiver above the magazine keeps them visible against the camo. Bright red or white accents work as a single contrast point.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end show noticeably less scuffing on the top and stock.
  • Look at the top of the receiver and the rail edges in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so decide whether you want them on the gun.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the camo reads.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the camo in its cleanest state.
  • Sticker crafters who need an untouched base for a military-themed build.
  • Conclusion: the pick for a flawless look.
