Vortigaunt Pin

Overview

Vortigaunt Pin is an Exotic collectible pin dedicated to Half-Life: Alyx, Valve's VR return to the Half-Life series. It depicts a Vortigaunt, the alien species from the Half-Life universe, in a flat emblem style. The large red eye in the centre makes it easy to tell apart from other pins.

Vortigaunt Pin is a CS2 item of the collectible type of the Exotic grade. It drops from Half-Life: Alyx Collectible Pins Capsule (on sale since Mar 23, 2020).

Appearance

The pin has a polished gold base shaped like the creature's silhouette, with a rounded head, broad shoulders and small points along the bottom edge. A large red-orange eye with a small gold pupil sits in the middle. A smaller red eye and two red marks are placed above it. Black engraved lines outline the shape and add contour to the head and body.

How it is used

The pin goes into the collectible slot in the inventory and can be displayed on your profile. Like other equipped collectibles, it also appears next to your name on the in-game scoreboard.
