Vypa, one of twelve sisters who were born into poverty and left to fend for themselves at age seven, is well-known as a rebel and improviser. Despite being a solo fighter, Vypa's attacks against her country's military dictatorship were so frequent that the military assumed it was the work of a small team. Vypa once mistakenly attacked a remote Guerrilla Warfare (GW) training ground, which she had thought was a government outpost. She employed her famous 'sting and choke' tactic on the camp and tied up Capt. Crasswater to a tree, threatening him with a knife before realizing her error. Crasswater, both impressed and intimidated, then recruited Vypa and her sisters into the GW. The group leads jungle-based GW missions and 'government awareness' campaigns together.
