Skin overview

★ Bayonet | Gamma Doppler (Phase 2) is a Covert knife with an anodized blade in saturated green, broken up by marbled swirls and lighter teal patches. In Factory New the candy coat looks glassy and even from tip to guard, and the marbling stays sharp. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the colour exactly as intended, with no visible marks.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The whole blade carries the Gamma Doppler finish: a bright green base with darker marbled veins and pale teal clouds that run across the flat and into the fuller. The fuller groove and the hole near the spine stand out as darker lines against the lighter areas. The crossguard is plain silver metal, and the ridged grip is olive-khaki with a pale metal pommel, so the colour is concentrated on the blade. The placement of light and dark patches differs from copy to copy. On worn copies the coating fades first at the tip, along the spine and on the cutting edge.

The blade is clean along its full length, with no scratches on the tip, spine or edge. The candy coat keeps its gloss, and the marbled veins have crisp borders. In game the green reads bright and uniform at any distance. Grip, guard and pommel look as they do on the image.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ Bayonet | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since the lowest floats show the cleanest tip and spine.
  • Check the inspect view for the balance of green and lighter teal, as each pattern places the patches differently.
  • Inspect the tip and spine closely on Minimal Wear copies, because that is where scuffs show first.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, as both affect how it fits your preferences.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the green finish with no marks at all.
  • Players who inspect the knife often and notice small flaws.
  • Buyers choosing a long-term showpiece.
  • In short, the choice for a flawless Phase 2 blade.
