Skin overview

The Phase 2 Gamma Doppler on the ★ Bayonet keeps its deep green body and cyan highlights, so the knife stays recognisable at a glance. In Minimal Wear the colour is still full and bright, and any marks are small and sit mostly near the tip and along the spine. It gives the same green look in hand while costing less than a flawless copy.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole blade carries the Gamma Doppler finish: a bright green base with darker marbled veins and pale teal clouds that run across the flat and into the fuller. The fuller groove and the hole near the spine stand out as darker lines against the lighter areas.

Small light scuffs can appear near the tip and along the spine, and on higher floats a few thin marks reach the edge. The flat of the blade and the fuller keep their full colour and marbling. In the first-person view these marks are hard to notice, and the knife reads almost the same as a Factory New copy. Grip and guard stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ Bayonet | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since the lowest floats show the cleanest tip and spine.
  • Check the inspect view for the balance of green and lighter teal, as each pattern places the patches differently.
  • Inspect the tip and spine closely on Minimal Wear copies, because that is where scuffs show first.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, as both affect how it fits your preferences.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Phase 2 colour in game at a lower cost.
  • Buyers who are fine with small marks near the tip that are hard to see in play.
  • A sensible entry point to Gamma Doppler on the Bayonet.
  • In short, nearly the same look for less money.
