Show allAllSkin overview
Boreal Forest turns the Bowie Knife into a field tool: a camouflaged blade in olive, khaki and teal set against a smooth green handle. In Field-Tested the print starts to break along the cutting edge and on the sawback teeth, where bare metal shows through. The scuffs fit the survival theme of the knife rather than working against it.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The camouflage covers the blade: irregular blotches of olive, khaki, dark grey-brown, pale yellow-green and teal overlap in layers from the tip to the guard. The sawback spine with its row of teeth carries the same print, and the teeth stand out against the lighter blotches.
Bare metal appears as a broken line along the cutting edge and around the tip. The sawback teeth lose a clear part of their print, and light scuffs begin to reach the flat of the blade. At normal distance the camo still reads as a full pattern with a used edge. The area near the guard and the centre of the blade stay mostly clean.

What to check before buying
- The float range does not start at the very bottom, so compare the actual float of a Factory New copy instead of expecting a perfect blade.
- Inspect the cutting edge, the tip and the sawback teeth, because the camo print wears to bare steel there first.
- The pattern placement changes how much teal and light green shows on the visible side of the blade, so check the in-game preview if a specific look matters.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag if either matters to you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like a used edge that fits the survival character of the Bowie.
- Buyers looking for a full camo look at normal distance without paying attention to close-up details.
- A practical grade for everyday play with the pattern still readable.
