Skin overview

★ Butterfly Knife | Doppler (Phase 4) pairs a blade marbled in deep blue and near-black with black handles carrying blue anodized inserts. In Factory New the candy coat is unbroken, so the marbling keeps its full depth and the blue stays saturated from tip to tang. This is the grade for buyers who want the finish exactly as it was painted.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade carries the Doppler marbling in this phase's palette: deep royal blue with dark navy and black clouding, broken by lighter blue streaks along the edge and toward the tip. The black handles have long channels filled with bright anodized blue, and the same blue repeats on the latch and around the pivot. Small cut-outs and pins along the handles stay black and give the knife a clean mechanical outline against the colour. On worn copies the coating goes first at the very tip, along the cutting edge and on the spine, then on the raised rims of the handle inserts.

The candy coat on the blade is untouched, with no scratches at the tip or along the edge. The blue inserts in the handles keep sharp, even borders against the black. In game the blade reads as a solid deep blue with visible dark marbling at any distance. Every part of the knife looks clean.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since the lowest floats show no marks even on close inspection.
  • Inspect the blade tip and cutting edge, as this is where the coating breaks first.
  • Compare the balance of dark clouding and bright blue on the blade, because the marbling differs from copy to copy.
  • Look for a name tag and decide whether it suits you before buying.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the Phase 4 marbling without any marks.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and notice every detail on the blade.
  • The right choice when a flawless finish matters more than the price.
