Skin overview

This Phase 4 Doppler is a cool, entirely blue take on the butterfly knife, with dark marbled swirls across the blade and blue accents running through the black handles. Minimal Wear keeps that colour almost intact, and any marks stay small and mostly near the tip and edge. It gives nearly the same look in the hand while costing less than the cleanest grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the Doppler marbling in this phase's palette: deep royal blue with dark navy and black clouding, broken by lighter blue streaks along the edge and toward the tip. The black handles have long channels filled with bright anodized blue, and the same blue repeats on the latch and around the pivot.

Light scuffs can appear at the tip and along the cutting edge, and higher floats may show faint marks on the spine. The handle inserts generally stay clean, at most with slight dulling on their raised rims. At normal viewing distance these marks are hard to spot, and the blade still reads as rich blue. The body of the blade and the marbling remain clear.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ Butterfly Knife | Doppler Phase 4 ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since the lowest floats show no marks even on close inspection.
  • Inspect the blade tip and cutting edge, as this is where the coating breaks first.
  • Compare the balance of dark clouding and bright blue on the blade, because the marbling differs from copy to copy.
  • Look for a name tag and decide whether it suits you before buying.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the full blue look in game and do not mind tiny marks at the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a more affordable entry to this phase.
  • A sensible option when the look matters more than a perfect blade.
