Skin overview

These gloves rely on a simple formula: dark leather, white palms, a braided panel and perforated fingers. In Well-Worn the white areas look noticeably dirty and the dark leather carries pale scuffs on the knuckles and fingers. The pair reads as a worn driving glove rather than a clean formal one, while keeping the recognisable layout at a lower cost.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The back of each glove is dark grey-black leather, with a raised woven lattice panel set over the back of the hand and stitched seams outlining the cuff and fingers. The fingers carry rows of small perforations typical of driving gloves.

The dark leather shows pale scuffing across the knuckles, fingers and much of the weave. The white palm looks clearly dirty, with darker patches along the creases. Cuff edges start to wear as well. In game the gloves look worn but the dark-and-light split is still clear.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the white palm shows grime quickly as wear grows.
  • Look at the fingertips and knuckles in the inspect view, as they wear before the rest of the glove.
  • Inspect the woven panel on the back of the hand, because its raised strands lose colour early.
  • Turn the hands in the preview to see the palm, which is less visible in normal play but shows dirt clearly.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget-minded players who still want a recognisable dark-and-white pair.
  • Fans of a worn, working-glove style.
  • A good saving if a dirty palm is not a concern.
