Skin overview

β˜… Driver Gloves | Seigaiha pair dark grey leather with a back panel of repeating blue wave scales. In Factory New the scales stay crisp and the silvery-blue sheen is unbroken from cuff to knuckles. The Factory New band is very narrow on these gloves, so this grade is the cleanest the pattern can look.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The back of each hand carries a large panel of overlapping semicircular waves in pale blue and cyan with a silvery, slightly metallic sheen. The fingers, knuckles and side panels are dark grey leather with rows of small perforations along the fingers. The palm and inner side are a deep teal shade, and the cuff is trimmed with a lighter grey edge. On worn copies the knuckles, fingertips and the cuff edge lose their finish first, followed by the outer rows of the wave panel.

The wave panel is fully intact with sharp outlines and an even sheen. The grey leather has a uniform tone with no visible scuffs on the knuckles or fingertips. In game the gloves look exactly like the inspect image. The cuff edge and palm are clean.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the look changes gradually across each grade.
  • Look at the outer rows of the wave panel to see whether the scales are still sharp.
  • Inspect the knuckles and fingertips, which lose their finish first.
  • View the gloves in game with your usual weapons, because the blue panel interacts with weapon colours in first person.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the pattern in its cleanest possible state.
  • Players building a blue or cool-toned inventory around the gloves.
  • The pick for those who value condition above all.
