★ Gut Knife | Doppler (Ruby) is a Gut Knife with a blade coated in deep, saturated red, broken up by darker marbled swirls under a glossy candy coat. In Factory New the red stays even from the gut hook to the tip, and the polished edge bevel frames it with a clean silver line. This is the grade for buyers who want the Ruby colour exactly as the finish intends.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Factory New
The whole blade, including the gut hook and the serrated section on the spine, is covered in a deep red anodized finish. Darker crimson and near-black swirls run across the flat of the blade in a marbled, smoke-like pattern, while the sharpened bevel along the edge stays bright polished steel. The handle has reddish-brown scales with small rivets, set in a frame tinted red at the guard and at the lanyard ring on the pommel. On worn copies the first marks appear near the tip, along the edge bevel and on the flat of the blade closest to the point.
Factory New copies show the red finish without scratches on the blade, hook or serrations. The marbling is crisp and the candy coat keeps an even gloss across the whole flat. In game the blade reads as a clean, bright red at any distance. The handle scales and the red ring at the pommel look untouched as well.

The whole float range of ★ Gut Knife | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

- Check where the float sits within the range, since copies near the upper end of Minimal Wear show more marks at the tip.
