★ Gut Knife | Freehand (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Gut Knife | Freehand is a gut knife whose blade is painted dark and purple and then covered with hand-drawn swirls and doodles in a metallic marker. In Factory New the purple panels and the silvery lines are crisp and unbroken from the tip to the gut hook. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the drawing to look exactly as intended, with no interruptions.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade carries the whole finish: a dark base with large violet panels, covered by dense silvery and white marker drawings such as swirls, curls and lettering-like strokes. The spine, including the gut hook and the textured section behind it, is mostly dark and grey with fine metallic doodles. The handle keeps its standard reddish-brown wooden scales with metal pins and the steel lanyard ring at the pommel, so the purple blade contrasts with the warm wood. On worn copies the paint goes first at the tip, along the cutting edge and around the gut hook, where bare steel shows through the drawing.

The paint covers the whole blade evenly, and the violet panels and silvery lines have sharp edges. The tip, cutting edge and gut hook are fully painted. In game the drawing reads clearly even at a glance during inspect. Everything on the blade looks clean.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show less steel at the tip.
• Look at the tip, cutting edge and gut hook in inspect, as these are the first places where the paint wears off.
• Compare screenshots of several copies, because the placement of the purple panels and drawings on the blade differs between them.
• Note whether the knife has StatTrak™ or a name tag if either matters to you.

Who should buy Factory New
