★ Huntsman Knife | Boreal Forest (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

★ Huntsman Knife | Boreal Forest in Battle-Scarred is mostly silver steel with fragments of olive and brown camo left on the blade. The black grip and the knife's distinctive shape keep it recognisable even when the paint is heavily worn. It is the most accessible way into this knife.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The blade is covered in a forest camouflage hydrographic of olive, light green, dark brown and teal patches that flows across both the flat and the spine. The serrated sawback, the tanto point and the finger guard with its hook carry the same pattern.

Most of the blade is bare steel, with scattered camo fragments on the flat and spine. The sawback, the tip and the guard edges are fully worn. In game the knife reads as silver with faint traces of the forest pattern. The black grip still looks the same as on cleaner copies.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of ★ Huntsman Knife | Boreal Forest is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

• Compare screenshots of several copies, because the hydrographic camo sits slightly differently on each blade.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
