★ Huntsman Knife | Boreal Forest (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Huntsman Knife | Boreal Forest is a Huntsman Knife covered in a forest camouflage hydrographic of olive, moss green, brown and teal blotches. In Factory New the pattern runs unbroken from the tanto point to the guard, and the colours look even and saturated. It is the grade for buyers who want the camouflage with no bare steel at all.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is covered in a forest camouflage hydrographic of olive, light green, dark brown and teal patches that flows across both the flat and the spine. The serrated sawback, the tanto point and the finger guard with its hook carry the same pattern. The handle is black with finger grooves and a textured surface, and it stays dark at every grade. On worn copies the camo first goes from the cutting edge, the tip and the sawback teeth, then from the guard and the pommel edges, revealing silver steel underneath.

The camo covers the entire blade, guard and pommel with no visible bare metal. The cutting edge and the sawback teeth keep their colour. In game the knife reads as an even green-brown surface against the black grip. Factory New copies sit in a narrow band at the very bottom of the float range.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The whole float range of ★ Huntsman Knife | Boreal Forest is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float position within the grade, since a low float keeps the edge and tip noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the cutting edge, the tanto point and the sawback teeth, as these lose paint first.
• Compare screenshots of several copies, because the hydrographic camo sits slightly differently on each blade.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the camouflage fully intact.
• Players who prefer a clean, even look on inspect.
• Best choice if bare steel on the edge bothers you.
