★ Huntsman Knife | Crimson Web (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Huntsman Knife | Crimson Web combines a deep red base with a black spider web laid over the blade, guard and pommel. In Factory New the red stays saturated, and the web lines run sharp from the Tanto point to the handle. The black grip with its finger grooves frames the colour without competing with it.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is painted red along its full length, and a black spider web hydrographic covers the flat and runs toward the Tanto point. The serrated teeth on the spine and the long fuller line carry the same red. The finger guard, the frame around the handle and the pommel also use the red base, while the grip inserts stay black with a fine texture. On worn copies the paint goes first at the tip, along the cutting edge and on the spine teeth, then on the edges of the guard and pommel. The position and number of webs on the blade differ from copy to copy, so buyers usually compare how clearly the web sits on the blade face.

The red base is even across the blade, guard and pommel, and the web lines are crisp. For this skin the Factory New range is narrow, and its cleanest point does not start at zero wear. The tip and the spine teeth look untouched at normal viewing distance. In game the knife shows a uniform red with a clear black pattern.

What to check before buying

• Look at where the web lands on the blade face, since a centred and complete web reads better than one pushed to the edge.
• Check the tip and cutting edge in inspect, because silver scratches appear there first.
• Factory New is a narrow range for this skin, so compare it with a low Minimal Wear copy before paying the difference.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ version or a name tag, as both change the offer you are comparing.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the cleanest red and the sharpest web.
• Buyers looking for a well-placed web on an untouched blade.
• The choice when full colour matters more than cost.
