Skin overview

Well-Worn Scorched shows the spray paint thinning across much of the blade, with bare steel taking over the edge half and the area around the fuller. The smoky patches survive mostly in the middle and towards the guard, so the knife looks weathered and metallic. The dark grip stays the steady part of the design.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The blade is covered in a spray-painted, sun-dappled camouflage of smoky grey, off-white and pale blue-grey patches, with darker sooty smudges near the spine and the tip. The pattern runs across the whole blade, including the serrated spine, the long fuller groove and the tanto point, while the guard ring keeps a muted steel-grey tone.

Most of the edge half of the blade is bare metal, and the paint around the fuller is broken up. The tip and serrations are worn to plain steel, and wear begins to appear on the guard. In game the knife looks noticeably metallic with patches of smoky colour. The pattern holds mainly in the centre and towards the guard.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade keep noticeably more paint on the edge and tip.
  • Inspect the tip, cutting edge and serrated spine first, as these lose the spray paint earliest.
  • Look at how the camouflage patches fall on the visible side of the blade, because the light and dark areas sit differently on each copy.
  • Decide whether you want the StatTrakβ„’ version and check the name tag if one is applied.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who prefer a weathered, metallic look over painted finishes.
  • Buyers looking for a lower-cost way into the Huntsman model.
  • Conclusion: a fitting option if worn steel is part of the appeal.
