★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler (Factory New) Emerald

Skin overview

★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler (Emerald) is a curved karambit with a blade and finger ring in deep green anodized paint, marbled with lighter cyan and almost white streaks. The handle stays dark grey and textured, so the green blade carries the whole look. In Factory New the candy coat is unbroken and the marbling reads clean and glossy from the spine to the tip.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is fully covered in green anodized paint, darker toward the edge and spine, with lighter cyan and white marbled clouds running through the middle of the curve. The finger ring repeats the same green marbling, which visually links the tip and the end of the knife. The handle is dark grey with a fine texture, deep finger grooves and jimping on the spine and near the ring, and it carries no colour from the finish. The placement of light and dark marbling on the blade changes from copy to copy, so some knives look more evenly green and others show larger pale areas. On worn copies the first marks appear on the blade tip, the cutting edge and the outer surface of the ring.

The anodized coat is intact across the whole blade and the ring. The tip and cutting edge keep their full green colour with no visible scratches. In game, both on inspect and in the first-person view, the knife looks glossy and saturated. Lower floats in this grade show the cleanest surface on close inspect.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the blade on inspect to see how the light and dark marbling falls, since some copies look more evenly green than others.
• Check where the float sits within the grade, as the cleanest Factory New copies stand apart from those near the boundary.
• Look at the tip, the edge and the outer side of the ring, where the first marks appear.
• Check whether a name tag has been applied and whether it suits you.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the Emerald phase in its cleanest state.
• Players who inspect their knife often and want the full gloss on screen.
• Conclusion: the choice for those who want the phase without compromises.
