Skin overview

This wear keeps the same green and cyan marble look of ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler (Phase 2) at a lower grade within the narrow range of this finish. Any marks are small and sit near the tip and cutting edge, so at a glance the blade reads almost as bright as a cleaner copy. It is a way to get the Phase 2 colours on the karambit while giving up only a little of the glossy surface.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole blade is coated in a translucent teal-green layer over a dark metallic base, with pale cyan and white marbled streaks running along the curve and brightest near the spine and tip. Darker green patches sit closer to the edge and the base of the blade, giving the surface depth.

Small scratches and thin spots appear at the tip and in places along the cutting edge. The spine, the middle of the blade and the ring generally stay clean and keep the full colour. In game the wear is hard to notice during normal play and shows mostly in inspect animations. The dark handle shows no meaningful change.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare the pattern, since the share of pale cyan marbling versus darker green differs from copy to copy.
  • Check the float position within the wear, as lower values keep the tip cleaner.
  • Inspect the tip and the cutting edge, where the coat breaks first.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, if that matters to you.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the Phase 2 colours and accept minor marks at the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a more affordable way into this knife and finish.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look in play for those who care more about the colours than a perfect surface.
