Skin overview

★ M9 Bayonet | Doppler (Phase 1) is a knife with a dark marbled candy finish in which black dominates and is broken by veins of deep blue and pink. In Factory New the coating is unbroken from tip to guard, so the transitions between black, blue and magenta stay crisp and glossy. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the darker Doppler phase exactly as intended.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade carries the marbled Doppler finish: a black base with cloudy swirls of deep blue, violet and pink that shift along the length of the steel. Pink and magenta tones gather around the middle of the blade, while blue and black run toward the tip and spine. The cross guard and finger ring are anodized in a matching blue-violet, and the segmented grip and pommel stay a dark grey rubber with no paint. On worn copies the finish gives way first at the very tip, along the cutting edge and on the serrated teeth of the spine, with the guard ends following.

In Factory New the coating on the blade, tip and serrations is intact, and the gloss holds evenly across every colour zone. Looking closely in inspect, copies at the upper end of the grade may show a faint dull spot at the point, but it does not break the colour. In game at normal distance the knife reads as a clean dark gem with pink highlights. The guard, ring and grip look untouched.

What to check before buying

  • Inspect the tip and the spine serrations, as they are the first places where the coating breaks.
  • Compare the colour distribution, since the share of pink versus black and blue changes noticeably from one pattern to another.
  • Check the float position within the grade, because a low float keeps the point fully glossy.
  • Look for a StatTrak™ version or a name tag if either matters to you, as both appear in the item name.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the darker Doppler phase with a perfect tip and full gloss.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and notice small details up close.
  • Conclusion: the choice for an uncompromised copy of this finish.
