Skin overview

The Phase 1 Doppler on the M9 Bayonet is recognised by its smoky black marble shot through with blue and pink, finished with an anodized violet guard. In Minimal Wear the same deep colours remain, and any marks are small and usually confined to the tip or the spine. Because the pattern is dark and busy, those marks are hard to spot, which makes this grade a sensible way to own the finish for less.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the marbled Doppler finish: a black base with cloudy swirls of deep blue, violet and pink that shift along the length of the steel. Pink and magenta tones gather around the middle of the blade, while blue and black run toward the tip and spine.

In Minimal Wear small scratches appear at the tip and may touch the edge near the point and the tops of the spine teeth. The marbling across the main body of the blade stays complete, and the dark base hides most of the marks. In game the difference from Factory New is barely noticeable unless the tip is held close in inspect. The guard and ring may show a light scuff at their ends, while the grip looks the same as on a new copy.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ M9 Bayonet | Doppler Phase 1 ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Inspect the tip and the spine serrations, as they are the first places where the coating breaks.
  • Compare the colour distribution, since the share of pink versus black and blue changes noticeably from one pattern to another.
  • Check the float position within the grade, because a low float keeps the point fully glossy.
  • Look for a StatTrak™ version or a name tag if either matters to you, as both appear in the item name.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Phase 1 look in game and accept minor marks at the tip.
  • Buyers entering the Doppler range on a tighter budget than Factory New.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look in play, with savings on the grade.
