★ M9 Bayonet | Forest DDPAT (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ M9 Bayonet | Forest DDPAT covers the long blade in a digital camouflage of sand, olive and deep forest green, while the handle stays in a plain green tone. In Factory New the pixel blocks keep crisp square borders, and the sawback spine and tip are fully painted. The look is restrained and military rather than bright.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is covered in a digital camouflage of square blocks in sand, olive, light green and dark forest green, with small brown accents. The pattern runs over the whole blade, including the sawback teeth on the spine and the area around the hole near the tip, while the cutting edge is outlined by a thin dark line. The crossguard and its ring are olive-beige, and the ribbed handle is a solid green with darker mottled shading. On worn copies the paint goes first from the tip, the cutting edge, the spine teeth and the ring of the guard, then from the raised ribs of the handle.

The finish is complete: every pixel block has sharp edges and no steel shows anywhere. The tip, spine teeth and guard ring are fully painted. In game the camo reads cleanly on the blade during inspect animations. The handle keeps an even green colour.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the tip and the sawback teeth in inspect, since that is where wear shows first.
• Check the float position within the grade, as low-float copies of worn grades keep noticeably more camo.
• Compare the pattern placement near the tip and the hole, as some copies show more dark or more sand blocks there.
• Check whether a StatTrak™ version or a name tag is present if that matters to you.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the camo in its cleanest form.
• Players who like a calm military knife without bright colours.
• Conclusion: the pick for a fully intact finish.
