Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of Freehand, and because the float range stops not far into this grade, the damage is heavy but not total. Large patches of the purple are gone from the edge and tip, leaving steel with fragments of the doodles. The overall violet tone and the dark guard area remain recognisable.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The blade is anodized in a vivid violet with black areas along the spine and near the guard, and the whole surface is covered with silver-white marker doodles: block lettering, circles, swirls and small shapes. The sawback teeth on the spine stay silver and break the pattern with a clean row of metal.

Wide areas of the edge and tip are worn to steel, and the blade flat carries heavy patchy wear with only parts of the doodles left. Because the float range caps early in this grade, copies never reach full stripping, and much of the purple remains near the spine. In game the knife looks clearly used but still violet overall. The guard is scuffed, while the grip remains in good shape.
