★ Nomad Knife | Night Stripe is a lock-blade knife sprayed through a tape mask in cool slate blue, dark navy and pale grey. In Factory New the stripes keep sharp edges and the matte coat covers the blade from spine to edge without a break. It is the cleanest and most even version of this muted night ops scheme.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The broad blade is coated in a pale slate blue with wide diagonal bands of darker navy grey running across it, and the unpainted cutting edge forms a thin bright line along the belly. The bolster and pivot area take the same blue-grey tone, with the dark stripes continuing over the handle frame and its row of holes. The textured grip insert keeps a darker grey that blends into the overall night ops palette. On worn copies the paint goes first from the cutting edge, the tip and the spine, then from the raised edges of the handle and the bolster, exposing bare steel.

The paint covers the blade, bolster and handle evenly, and the borders of the stripes stay crisp. Only the polished cutting edge shows metal, as intended by the design. In first-person view the knife reads as a smooth matte blue-grey object with clear banding. The Factory New range on this skin is narrow, so these copies are relatively scarce.
