Skin overview
Night Stripe dresses the Nomad Knife in a subdued pattern of masked stripes in night ops blues and greys. In Field-Tested the spray coat starts to thin along the edge, the tip and the spine, and bare metal shows through in places. The worn steel suits the utilitarian, used-in-the-field character of the finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The broad blade is coated in a pale slate blue with wide diagonal bands of darker navy grey running across it, and the unpainted cutting edge forms a thin bright line along the belly. The bolster and pivot area take the same blue-grey tone, with the dark stripes continuing over the handle frame and its row of holes.
Paint loss becomes visible along the cutting edge, at the tip and on the spine near the pivot. The bolster edges start to show light scratches, while the centre of the blade and the grip insert stay mostly covered. In game the stripes are still clearly readable, with silver flecks catching the light near the edge. Lower floats in this grade look noticeably cleaner than higher ones.

What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since low and high floats of the same wear look noticeably different on this spray-paint finish.
- Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the spine, because these areas lose paint first.
- Look at how the dark stripes fall across the blade, as the pattern placement changes from copy to copy.
- Confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like a bit of exposed steel that fits the tactical theme.
- Buyers looking for a mid-range entry to the Nomad Knife model.
- A practical everyday knife with the pattern still clearly visible.
