How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade is covered in a candy-coated pink and magenta finish, with lighter pink patches and dark, smoky marbled veins running across its length. The pattern continues over the spine, around the long slot cut into the blade and onto the guard area, which takes on a deeper magenta tone. The handle is wrapped in grey paracord that carries no paint, and the exposed pommel loop at the end repeats the magenta colour. The spread of dark marbling and light pink areas differs from copy to copy. On worn copies the coating goes first at the tip, along the spine and edge, and around the slot in the blade.

The candy coating is intact across the whole blade, with no visible breaks at the tip, spine or around the slot. Pink and magenta tones keep their gloss, and the dark marbling stays crisp. In game the blade reads as a solid, bright pink surface at any distance. Copies near the top of the range may show a tiny mark under close inspection, but nothing that changes the look.
