★ Paracord Knife | Safari Mesh is a survival knife with a muted olive and khaki finish, sprayed through mesh fencing so a faint cell net shows across the blade. In Factory New the paint covers the whole blade, and the lighter tan patches and the mesh lines stay crisp from tip to guard. This grade suits a buyer who wants the camouflage exactly as designed, with no bare steel showing.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Appearance in Factory New
The blade is a tanto-style shape with a long through-slot, painted in a grey-olive base with lighter tan blotches and a faint mesh pattern laid over the whole surface. The notched area near the guard and the spine carry the same muted colours, so the knife has no contrasting accents. The handle is wrapped in pale khaki paracord with darker grain in the weave, and it ends in a metal pommel with a lanyard hole. On worn copies the paint goes first at the tip, along the cutting edge and spine, and around the rims of the slot, where bare silver steel appears.
Factory New on this skin covers only a narrow band at the clean end of its range, so copies look very consistent. The paint is intact on the tip, edge, spine and slot rims, and the mesh lines are sharp. In first-person view the blade reads as an even olive-tan surface with soft blotches. The paracord handle looks clean and evenly coloured.
Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07
The whole float range of ★ Paracord Knife | Safari Mesh is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Compare the float within the chosen wear, since in Field-Tested and above it decides how much bare steel shows at the tip and edge.
- Inspect the rims of the blade slot and the spine, which lose paint early and are visible during inspect animations.
- Pattern placement shifts the tan blotches slightly but does not change the skin much, so judge copies mainly by wear.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or has a name tag if either matters to you.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the camouflage intact on every edge.
- Players who prefer a calm, low-contrast knife with no visible damage.
- The choice for a clean, consistent copy of this finish.
