Show allAllSkin overview
The Safari Mesh finish is a quiet field camouflage: grey-olive paint, soft tan blotches and a thin mesh pattern over a tanto-style blade with a long slot. In Minimal Wear the scheme looks almost the same as Factory New, and any marks are small specks near the tip or edge. It gives practically the clean look at a lower grade.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The blade is a tanto-style shape with a long through-slot, painted in a grey-olive base with lighter tan blotches and a faint mesh pattern laid over the whole surface. The notched area near the guard and the spine carry the same muted colours, so the knife has no contrasting accents.
Minimal Wear adds tiny light specks, usually near the tip and along the cutting edge. On inspection they can be noticed, but at normal distance in game the knife looks almost the same as Factory New. The mesh pattern, the tan patches and the area around the slot stay clean. The handle shows no visible change.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of ★ Paracord Knife | Safari Mesh is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Compare the float within the chosen wear, since in Field-Tested and above it decides how much bare steel shows at the tip and edge.
- Inspect the rims of the blade slot and the spine, which lose paint early and are visible during inspect animations.
- Pattern placement shifts the tan blotches slightly but does not change the skin much, so judge copies mainly by wear.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or has a name tag if either matters to you.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Buyers who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Players who will not notice tiny specks during a match.
- A practical compromise between appearance and cost.
