Skin overview
★ Bayonet | Doppler (Black Pearl) is a Bayonet with a blade in deep black and dark violet, crossed by cloudy silver-blue swirls. In Factory New the candy coat is unbroken, so the dark tones stay glossy and the marbling reads with full depth from spine to edge. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the phase exactly as it was painted.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The finish covers the whole blade: a base of black and deep navy with marbled violet and silver-blue clouds, brightest near the tip and along the spine. The long fuller under the spine and the hole near the point catch the light and show the darker layers of the coat.
In Factory New the coat on the blade is intact from the tip to the guard. The gloss over the dark base is even, and the silver-blue clouds keep sharp contrast. At normal distance in game the blade reads as a clean, polished dark surface with a soft violet glow. The tip and edge show no visible marks.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet | Doppler Black Pearl ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
It drops as a rare special item from:
- Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015)
- Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015)
- Chroma 3 Case
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the range, because low Minimal Wear copies look almost identical to Factory New.
- Look at the pattern on the inspect screen, since the balance of dark base and silver clouds differs between copies.
- Inspect the tip and the cutting edge closely, as these are the first places where the coat breaks.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the Black Pearl phase with an untouched coat.
- Players who inspect their knife often and want the cleanest blade in close view.
- Conclusion: the choice for a buyer who will not accept any marks.
