Skin overview

★ Bowie Knife | Gamma Doppler (Phase 2) pairs a large sawback blade with a marbled anodized finish in teal, cyan and deep green. In Factory New the candy coating stays glossy across the whole blade, so the marbling and the light cyan streaks along the spine read sharp and unbroken. The green-tinted guard and pommel frame the colour against the black grip.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade carries the whole finish: a marbled pattern of deep green and teal with darker smoky patches toward the middle and bright cyan streaks running along the spine and toward the tip. The sawback teeth on the spine pick up the same colours, broken into small light and dark facets.

The candy coating is intact over the whole blade, including the tip and the sawback teeth. The cyan streaks keep their bright glow and the dark patches stay deep and glossy. Copies at the upper end of the grade may show a faint mark on the tip only under close inspection. In game the knife looks fully clean from any distance.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the marbling on the visible side of the blade, since the share of bright cyan versus dark green differs between copies.
  • Inspect the tip and the sawback teeth, as these are the first places where scuffs show.
  • Compare the float within the wear range if you care about the cleanest possible look.
  • Check whether the knife is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the Phase 2 colours with a fully glossy blade.
  • Players building an inventory in green and teal tones who want the knife to look perfect in inspect.
  • The choice for buyers who want this finish without any compromise.
