Skin overview

This Bowie Knife pairs a black textured handle and lime green fittings with a blade painted in a blue-green Gamma Doppler marble. In Minimal Wear the coat keeps its colour depth, and the few fine marks it may carry sit mostly at the tip and along the sawback. For a buyer who cares more about the colour than about a flawless surface, this grade keeps the look of Phase 4 nearly intact.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the whole finish: a marbled coat that shifts from deep teal patches near the spine to bright cyan in the middle and a pale blue-white zone toward the tip, with green tints running through the pattern. The sawback teeth on the spine are painted in the same marble and catch light as a row of small bright points.

This grade covers only a narrow range, so wear stays light: a few fine scratches can appear at the tip and on the sawback teeth. The middle of the blade and the area near the guard usually look the same as in Factory New. At normal viewing distance in game the difference is hard to spot, and the colour reads just as clean. The handle and the lime green fittings remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Gamma Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare the pattern on the inspect screen, since the balance of dark teal, bright cyan and green differs between copies.
  • Check the tip and the sawback teeth, as these are the first places where the coat shows marks.
  • Look at the float position within the grade, because Minimal Wear copies near the lower edge look almost identical to Factory New.
  • See whether there is a name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™ if that matters to you.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the Phase 4 colours and do not mind faint marks at the tip.
  • Buyers who prefer to save compared with the Factory New grade while keeping almost the same look.
  • Minimal Wear is a practical way to get this knife with nearly the full effect in game.
