Show allAllSkin overview
Safari Mesh on the Bowie Knife is a two-tone olive and sand finish with a stencilled mesh over the blade and handle. In Well-Worn a good share of the paint is gone from the edges and raised parts, and the steel becomes a visible part of the look. The mesh is still recognisable on the flat of the blade.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The whole knife is spray-painted in khaki and olive green with lighter sandy areas, and a hexagonal mesh stencil runs across the blade like chain-link fencing. The clip-point blade carries the clearest part of the mesh, while the serrated spine and the tip share the same muted tone.
Well-Worn copies lose paint along the whole spine and edge, and bare steel starts to spread onto the flat of the blade near the tip. The guard and pommel are noticeably worn, and the raised parts of the handle show scuffs. In game the knife reads as part metal, part camouflage. The mesh survives mainly in the centre of the blade and on the grip.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Safari Mesh ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
It drops from Operation Wildfire Case as a rare special item.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the tip and spine teeth noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the tip, the saw teeth and the ends of the guard, as these lose paint first.
- Check how much of the mesh remains on the flat of the blade on worn grades.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, since both change what you are paying for.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers who care more about the knife model than the paint.
- Players who like the mix of steel and camouflage.
- Conclusion: an affordable way into the Bowie Knife with character.
